The Government of Pakistan has announced a fresh increase in petroleum prices, raising the cost of both petrol and high-speed diesel across the country.
According to the latest official notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 6.39 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) has become Rs. 7.83 per litre more expensive. The revised prices have come into effect immediately.
The latest hike is expected to increase transportation and logistics costs, which could also affect the prices of essential goods and services. Consumers and businesses alike are likely to feel the impact of higher fuel costs as they adjust to the revised rates announced by the government.
