APS Survivor Ahmad Nawaz elected a President of Oxford Union, Second after Benazir Bhutto

Ahmad Nawaz, a survivor of the Army Public School (APS) attack in Peshawar, Pakistan, has been voted president of the Oxford Union, the world’s most prestigious debating organisation, situated at Oxford University.

“I am so extremely delighted to announce that I have been Elected President of the Oxford Union, One of the world’s biggest and historical platforms!” the 20-year-old student tweeted on Sunday.
