Army Chief Donates Rs 25 Million to Support Martyrs’ Families

General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, donated Rs 25 million to the families of Islamabad police martyrs, expressing that the sacrifices of our heroes will not be avoided, and Pakistan always stands with the heirs of martyrs.

The Islamabad Police (ICT) took to its Twitter account, appreciated the gesture by COAS and stated that letters have been sent to the families of martyrs. Gen Asim Munir also met the families of ICT martyrs at Police Lines.

Addressing the relatives on the eve of Youm-e-Takreem Shuhada-e-Pakistan, held on 25th May, Gen Asim Munir paid homage to the sacrifices of all the martyrs of country. He also condemned the events that happened on May 9th.
