Qamar Javed Bajwa Army chief General had a five day visit in United States in order to better their agitated and difficult relations.
As per sources, the military’s media wing is reticent over the trip the Gen Bajwa was accompanied by a high powered delegation.
Gen Bajwa have a series of meetings with the US representatives including a trip to the Pentagon and Langley, the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
Chief’s visit is closely followed as some have related it with the expected change of command in the month of November in the army.
As per the sources in Washington are playing down such speculations and it has nothing to do with the Pakistani domestic situation.
