Asia Cup 2022: PCB to take Strong Stance against Afghani Spectators Brawl in ICC, ACC

Recently, Afghanistan’s fan vandalism Pakistan’s spectators in Sharjah after Pakistan won with 1 wicket against Afghanistan . PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) decided to take strong stance in International Cricket Council (ICC) and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) against Afghanistan.

Afghani spectators attacked Pakistani fans inside the stands after Pakistan beat Afghanistan with 1 wicket.

The video started circulating on social media followed by immense backlash on Afghani fans for creating disturbance inside the ground.

PCB stated, “Due to such repeated incidents involving Afghanistan fans, PCB will take a strong stance in ICC and ACC. We care about our fans and we will do every possible thing we could.”

PCB would write letter to ICC, ACC and Sharjah Cricket Council in this regard.

Meanwhile, ICC will make their decision on the face off moment Pakistan’s Asif Ali and Afghanistan’s Fareed Ahmad during the match.

Fareed poked Asif after getting his wicket, in reply, the Pakistani batter resisted.

Whereas, to inquire about the matter, both the crickets were called upon.

Afghani fans were also arrested after the incident.
