Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ Singing Clip Resurfaces on Internet

A recent video has gained widespread attention, featuring Bollywood actor and singer Ayushmann Khurrana performing the patriotic song “Dil Dil Pakistan” at a concert. The song, originally written and released by the Pakistani band Vital Signs in 1987, holds a special place as an “unofficial national anthem” for Pakistanis.

The video stirred controversy, triggering diverse opinions from users on both sides of the border. Some individuals in India criticized Ayushmann, advocating for a boycott and accusing him of disrespecting the song.

However, subsequent revelations clarified that the footage dates back to a 2017 concert in Dubai. During this event, Ayushmann expressed appreciation for fans from various states, aiming to foster friendly relations between Pakistan and India.

Despite the context provided, the video’s release, just days after Ayushmann attended the Ram Mandir event, intensified the backlash. Ayushmann was one of several notable figures invited to the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The timing of the video, coupled with his recent participation in the Ram Mandir event, sparked heated discussions and differing perspectives among people on social media.
