The new Selection Panel led by Haroon Rasheed, have started deliberations on Pakistan cricket team’s selection for the upcoming T20I series against Afghanistan in Sharjah.
As per the reports, it is said that a few players, including Azam Khan, Imad Wasim, Ihsanullah, and Osama Mir, are under consideration to join the team due to their exceptional performances in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL). Additionally, there is a proposal to rest some senior players and give young cricketers a chance.
The selection committee is expected to hold a regular meeting soon. Initially, the option of announcing a list of twenty to twenty-two players is being considered, from which a sixteen-member team will be selected. The final squad will be announced before the PSL final.
