Azerbaijan Introduces Online Service for Issuance of e-Visit Visas for Pakistani Travelers

The Azerbaijani government has recently introduced an innovative online service, the “ASAN Visa” system, aiming to simplify and expedite the visa application process for citizens from countries such as Pakistan. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to boost international tourism and foster cultural exchange between Azerbaijan and other nations.

The “ASAN Visa” system offers Pakistani travelers a user-friendly platform to apply for e-visit visas to Azerbaijan. The process involves three straightforward steps: first, applicants can conveniently submit their visa applications online; second, they are required to make a secure payment for the visa fee; and finally, upon approval, they can easily download their e-visa.\

This streamlined process eliminates the need for traditional paper-based applications and minimizes bureaucratic hurdles, ensuring efficiency and convenience for Pakistani visitors.

For Pakistani nationals interested in visiting Azerbaijan, the visa fees are set at $26 for regular processing and $61 for urgent processing. Normal visa processing typically takes around three working days, while urgent processing guarantees issuance within just three hours. Applicants can access the “ASAN Visa” system and submit their applications through the official website of Azerbaijan’s immigration services at www.evisa.gov.az.
