Babar Azam Achieves International Cricket Milestone During Perth Test

During the third day of the Perth Test against Australia on Saturday, Babar Azam, the star batter from Pakistan, achieved a significant milestone. The 29-year-old became the fifth Pakistani to score more than 13,000 runs in international cricket. Babar boasts an impressive average of 49.08, the highest among the top five batsmen. In his 301 innings, he has notched up 31 centuries and 81 half-centuries.

In the overall list of highest run-scorers for Pakistan in international cricket, Inzamam-ul-Haq leads with 20,541 runs, followed by Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Javed Miandad, and now, Babar Azam.

However, during the match, Babar faced a setback when he was dismissed by Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh after scoring 21 runs in the first session of the day.
