Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan ‘Rejected’ Lucrative Offers Worth Millions from Betting Companies

Pakistani cricket stars Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have rejected lucrative sponsorship offers from betting companies, which were worth a lot of money.

These offers were made by companies that are involved in illegal activities and are suspected of having connections with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

This revelation comes at a time when there are ongoing investigations into allegations of a “conflict of interest” against former chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq. He has denied these accusations and subsequently resigned from his position.

The report also brings to light that the PCB has accepted sponsorship from a surrogate betting sponsor. This sponsor is believed to be involved in running more than 150 illegal betting websites and apps on various digital platforms in Pakistan.

Furthermore, it has been reported that certain Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams have pressured individual players to promote these illegal betting companies by wearing their logos on their shirts and granting them image rights. This action goes against established regulations.
