Babar Azam reminds me of Muhammad Ali’ says Sir Vivian Richards.

Sir Vivian Richards, the mentor of the Quetta Gladiators, compared Pakistani captain to Muhammad Ali, the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time, claiming he’methodically dismantles’ his opponents.

Speaking to a local news outlet, the cricket legend stated that Karachi Kings captain, whose laudable batting was a delight to witness, is the best who plays conventional shots and strokes that are generally seen in lengthy formats.

“What I like about Babar is that you can’t see what he’s doing to you and he doesn’t knock you out.” When he boxes, he’s like Muhammad Ali in that he jabs and hurts you.

“He’s an individual who just has too much time to play, and it’s a joy,” Richard was quoted as saying about Pakistani skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, who was named ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year.

He heaped respect on Kings’ captain, saying the 27-year-old is part of a very small set of players who can score runs in traditional ways. In addition, his grace with the cover drive enhances the shot in a traditional way.
