Babar Azam’s Father breaks into tears after Pakistan beat India in the T20 world cup 2021 Match.

Captain Babar Azam, who led Pakistan to a historic 10-wicket win over India in an ICC T20 World Cup match at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, led from the front with outstanding patience and subtlety.

As Pakistan crushed India to secure top spot in Group 2 of the T20 World Cup 2021, the 27-year-old Babar, who produced a stunning half-century (68 not out off 52 balls), forged an undefeated 152-run combination with wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan (79*). In Dubai, Babar and Rizwan made Indian bowlers seem pedestrian by guiding their team over the line with 13 balls to spare while chasing a 152-run mark.

Pakistan’s spectacular victory ended a 29-year curse of failing to win a World Cup match against India. Babar Azam’s father, Azam Siddique, was overjoyed and happy following Pakistan’s historic victory against their arch-rivals.

When Babar’s father saw his son’s excellent knock, he couldn’t hold back his tears and sobbed. He was seen being congratulated by a slew of admirers and friends in the video.
