Balochistan Inspector General (IG) of Police Mohsin Hassan Butt digitalized the obsolete and conventional police system on Tuesday in order to get the provincial police system in line with modern policing methods.
The computerized Data Command and Communication Center (DCCC) has been set up in the IG’s office, according to details.
The new system would allow for the online registration of First Information Reports (FIRs), as well as the collection of mobile service center and human resource management records in the DCCC.
In order to offer the best service to the public, effective tracking of police officers’ performances and police stations will be carried out using automated data collection.
IGP Mohsin Butt, speaking on the occasion, said that all police stations in the province will now register computerized FIRs, and that Gawalmandi police station is fully digitally fitted with all facilities.
