BCCI Denies Reports of Accepting PCB’s Hybrid Model for Asia Cup

The Board of Control for Cricket, India (BCCI) has rejected the claims about the acceptance of the hybrid model, proposed by Pakistan Cricket Board for Asia Cup 2023.

The authorities have declared their unwillingness to play matches in Pakistan for Asia Cup previously, to which PCB proposed a hybrid model where India would not have to play in Pakistan. Later, the news about the acceptance of hybrid model by Asian Cricket Council started emerging.

BCCI responded to the claims that they are in preference to play matches in Sri Lanka as it would a neutral venue for Asia Cup. The fans are waiting for the final decision which is expected to be delivered on 28th May amidst Indian Premier League finale.
