Residents of Gulberg Greens in Islamabad were left concerned after a Bengal tiger and two cubs were reportedly spotted within the residential community.
The sighting was reported from B Block, Street 15, where the animals were seen moving through the area. The presence of a mother tiger accompanied by her cubs raised particular concern, as wild animals can become aggressive when they feel threatened or are protecting their young.
Following the reports, security teams increased monitoring across the area and advised residents to take precautions. Families were asked to stay inside their homes, while children were specifically warned against going outdoors until the situation became clear.
Residents were also encouraged to avoid approaching the animals or attempting to follow them. They were advised to immediately inform security personnel if the tiger or cubs appeared again.
Images and videos allegedly showing the animals quickly spread through local community groups, adding to concern among residents. Security staff continued surveillance in an effort to track the animals and prevent any possible encounter with people.
The reported incident has also raised questions about how the animals reached the residential area. With a mother and two cubs involved, authorities and security personnel face the additional challenge of managing the situation without provoking the animals.
