‘Bismillah’ Found on 195 Million-Year-Old Marble Discovered in Turkey.

The markings that appear to form Bismillah, or In Allah’s name, were discovered on a marble slab in a marble quarry in Turkey’s Mediterranean region of Antalya.

The discovery was made in Antalya Marble Industry and Trade Company’s marble business region in Taskesigi village, Antalya Korkuteli district.

While the stone was being treated in the quarry, miners were drawn to the figure that appeared on it. While cleaning the stone, employees spotted a marking that looked to spell “Bismillah” in Arabic letters.

The slab was subsequently transferred for analysis to Suleyman Demirel University in Turkiye’s southeastern Isparta district.

Fuzuli Yagmurlu, Rasit Altindag, and Nazmi Sengun, scientists, made an interesting discovery in their analysis.

While 195 million year old bones were discovered in the marble, the marking is thought to have developed organically.
