CAA to Build New Runways at Karachi Airport

The aviation authority of the country, which is responsible for overseeing and managing aviation-related matters, has made a significant decision regarding Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.

They have decided to construct brand new, cutting-edge runways at the airport. Runways are the long, paved strips where airplanes take off and land, and they are essential for the safe operation of any airport.

At Jinnah International Airport, there are currently two runways, known as 25 Right and 7 Left. However, these runways are now in need of reconstruction and modernization to ensure they meet the highest safety and operational standards.

To carry out this important construction project, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has invited both local and foreign companies to participate.

These companies must have the necessary qualifications, including prior experience in runway construction, expertise in airport infrastructure projects, and the financial capabilities to undertake such a significant task.
