Azam Khan, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has tragically passed away on Saturday morning. His admission to a private hospital in Peshawar on Friday night was prompted by a worsening health condition, primarily attributed to a severe stomach infection. Reports indicate that he experienced a heart attack on the same night, contributing to the critical nature of his health.
Shabbir Shah, the spokesperson for Rehman Medical Institute, stated that Azam Khan was already dealing with multiple health issues, and his condition was precarious upon admission. In the days leading up to his hospitalization, he had curtailed his activities due to the severity of his illness.
Family members and officials confirmed Azam Khan’s death at 10:25 am on Saturday. The funeral prayers for the late Chief Minister are scheduled to take place at 3 pm in Charsadda. The passing of Azam Khan marks a significant loss, and his contributions as a leader will be remembered.
