As per the sources, at the first meeting of the newly formed CDA Board, Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced to Transform Islamabad into a Tourist-Friendly City, functionalizing libraries, & arrange activities that underline the national culture.
In the meeting, a decision was also made to establish a facilitation center for promoting tourism. In this regard, Special guidance will be offered to tourists toward the available facilities.
Then again, the significance of visiting the historical places in Islamabad & its surrounding area will also be highlighted.
Further, they endorsed the functionality of all libraries in the state capital with immediate impact to encourage the culture of reading books.
The CDA Board has also made the decision to arrange events to highlight the importance of national culture.
In addition, the CDA Board has released instructions to finish the reconstruction of road infrastructure & enhance the sanitation situation in the federal capital ASAP.
