Changing Lives for the Better: JDC Foundation Pakistan’s Remarkable Charity Work

Zafar Abbas and a few other young Karachi residents founded the JDC Welfare Organisation in 2009. This Foundation is more concentrated and actively operating in Sindh, Pakistan’s third-largest province, which is home to more than 47.9 million people.

The founder is active on social media, including Twitter and Facebook, and is frequently seen assisting in crises like as the covid pandemic, natural disasters like the flood that occurred a year ago, elderly people who are homeless, and much more that will be covered later.

Humanitarian Efforts of JDC Foundation in Pakistan

The largest flood to ever hit Pakistan occurred in 2022 as a result of intense monsoon rainfall and melting glaciers.

This natural catastrophe and climate change-related death toll left 1,739 people[3] dead and left Rs 3.2 trillion ($14.9 billion) in physical damage and Rs 3.3 trillion ($15.2 billion) in economic damages. The source, JDC carried out their regular duties and immediately began aiding flood victims.

They gave additional essentials or resources within their range, donated roughly 2 million ration packs, 500,000 mosquito nets to those affected by the flood, and, as I mentioned, transparency is something that people trust and have experienced in the past and present Fund for flood relief.

This endeavour is imperative if dialysis patients are to survive, especially given that in our nation the majority of people cannot afford treatment and die as a result.

Pakistan’s first free diagnostic lab where absolutely free tests will be done, this laboratory is located at Numaish. As we all know that existing Labs are taking a lot of money everyone cannot afford it, so we have taken the initiative to make a Diagnostic Lab, a blood bank, and a Thalassemia center just to provide relief to the people of our society. We will provide this facility 24/7 all we need is support from the people of Pakistan.

The establishment of this diagnostic lab is a significant contribution to the healthcare system in Pakistan, as medical testing services are often expensive and can be difficult to access for low-income individuals.
