Chery Pakistan Reduced Price of Tiggo 8 Pro by Rs. 850,000

In recent years, Pakistan’s automotive landscape has undergone significant changes, particularly in the realm of SUVs. This shift has been fueled by evolving consumer preferences and lifestyle trends, with crossover SUVs gaining traction over traditional sedan models. Recognizing this trend, Chery Pakistan entered the market with a strategic focus on offering innovative crossover SUVs tailored to meet the demands of Pakistani consumers.

Chery Pakistan has announced a significant reduction in the price of its Tiggo 8 Pro model by Rs. 849,000, bringing it down to Rs. 9,550,000 from its previous price of Rs. 10,399,000. According to the car assembler, this offer is available on a first-come-first-serve basis and applies to limited stock only. Customers will be responsible for any government taxes applicable at the time of delivery, and the price at the time of delivery will be applicable.

Ghandhara Automobiles, the company behind Chery Pakistan, reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any point in time. This marks the second offer on its vehicles by the company in recent months. In February 2024, GAL introduced a new offer—a 10-year/1 million kilometers engine extended warranty for its crossovers in the country.

Chery Pakistan launched two variants of the crossover SUV in Pakistan, namely the Tiggo 8 Pro and Tiggo 4 Pro, entering a highly competitive segment of the local market. The crossover SUV segment has seen significant growth in Pakistan since the successful launch of the Kia Sportage in 2019. Consequently, the local market trend has shifted towards crossovers from sedans, as consumers are drawn to the shape, size, and feel of these vehicles.

In recent years, crossovers have become dominant in the local market, leading to new launches and intense competition among automakers. Chery Pakistan’s decision to reduce the price of the Tiggo 8 Pro reflects its efforts to stay competitive in the rapidly evolving automotive landscape of Pakistan.
