Chinese automaker Geely is preparing to enter Pakistan’s electric vehicle market with two models, the EX2 hatchback and EX5 electric SUV.
The company has partnered with Bestway Group, which will serve as Geely’s authorised distributor in Pakistan. The two vehicles are expected to initially arrive as completely built units (CBUs), rather than being assembled locally.
Bestway had earlier targeted the third quarter of 2026 for Geely’s launch in Pakistan. However, the company has not announced a confirmed launch date, local prices or final specifications. Recent images of both vehicles in Pakistan suggest that preparations for their introduction are underway.
The EX2 is a compact electric hatchback, while the EX5 is positioned as a larger electric SUV. Geely says the EX2 sold 465,775 units globally in 2025 and reached 500,000 deliveries within 14 months of its launch in China.
Bestway has also indicated that bookings for the new Geely vehicles are expected before the end of 2026. The company has yet to confirm the prices and Pakistan-specific equipment for either model.
