CM Sohail Afridi Wants World’s Best Tourism Spots in KPK & Create Thousands of Jobs

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has directed the relevant authorities to identify and develop new tourist destinations in Kolai-Palas and Allai, as part of efforts to unlock the region’s vast tourism potential.

The chief minister stressed the need to explore lesser-known scenic areas and develop them into properly managed tourist destinations equipped with modern, world-class facilities.

Under the Khushhal Hazara Package, the provincial government has allocated Rs. 500 million for tourism-related development projects in the region.

Afridi emphasized that improved hospitality services, visitor facilities and effective traffic management would be essential for attracting more domestic and international tourists.

He called for coordinated planning to ensure that tourism infrastructure is developed in a sustainable manner while preserving the natural beauty of the area.

The chief minister said the promotion of tourism could play a key role in improving the province’s positive image, generating employment and creating new economic opportunities for local communities.

He also highlighted the importance of involving residents in tourism-related activities so that the benefits of development reach people at the grassroots level.

Afridi reaffirmed that his government remains focused on peace, development, improved public services and sustainable economic growth across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

The planned tourism initiatives in Hazara are expected to contribute to regional development while showcasing the province’s scenic landscapes and cultural heritage to a wider audience.
