During the National Seminar on Agriculture and Food Security held at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Asim Munir assured the coalition government of Pakistan of unwavering support for the country’s economic development. General Asim emphasized that the army is fully prepared to provide all possible cooperation to facilitate Pakistan’s progress. He expressed his backing for initiatives like the Green Pakistan Initiative, which was launched during the seminar, and highlighted the nation’s abundant resources and growth potential.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who was also present at the event, stressed the significance of agriculture and its role in generating employment opportunities. He emphasized the need to address the losses incurred by state-owned enterprises and highlighted Pakistan’s potential to attract substantial investment in the coming years, particularly in the realm of food exports to Gulf countries.
