Australian cricketer Mitchell Marsh is in trouble because someone filed a complaint against him for disrespecting the World Cup 2023 trophy.
An activist named Pandit Keshav in Uttar Pradesh, India, made the complaint and sent a copy to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking for Marsh to be banned from playing cricket in India.
This happened because Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami didn’t like that Marsh put his feet on the trophy. Marsh, who hasn’t said anything about the issue, went back to Australia after winning the title.
