Completed consensus Urdu translation of the Holy Quran

Sahibzada Noorul Haq Qadri, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, announced on Monday that a consensus Urdu translation of the Holy Quran had been completed in consultation with renowned Ulema and religious scholars of all schools of thought.

The translation would be unveiled at a ceremony shortly attended by Prime Minister Imran Khan, and he stated while speaking at the Jamia Al Kausar’s 13th Quran and Hadith Competition. The inclusion of the Seerah of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) in the school curriculum, according to Qadri, was done to promote Islamic culture in the country.

He stated that youth must be taught the lessons of the Holy Quran. He asked Ulema and scholars from all schools of thought to foil opponents’ plots against Islam and Pakistan.
