Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes First Person to Reach 400 Million Instagram Followers

Cristiano Ronaldo, a well-known Portuguese player, has recently broken yet another record, this time off the field, by surpassing 400 million Instagram followers and becoming the most famous person on the social media network.

Kylie Jenner, an American reality star and makeup mogul, formerly held this record, but she has now dropped to second place with 309 million followers. Lionel Messi, a renowned Argentinian player, is in third place with 306 million followers.

The news was announced on ESPN FC’s Twitter account, with the footballer being named as the “GOAT” (greatest of all time). The tweet stated, “Cristiano Ronaldo is the first person to reach 400 million Instagram followers. The indisputable GOAT of social media.”

Piers Morgan, a British broadcaster, stated about being one of the 500 people Ronaldo follows on Twitter. He also congratulated the footballer, “Congratulations to Cristiano on becoming the first human to reach 400 million Instagram followers. The undisputed social media [goat emoji].”
