Customs Seize Imported Phones, MacBooks Worth Rs. 64 Million

On Friday, Pakistan Customs confiscated imported luxury phones and Apple laptops valued at around Rs. 64 million at the Islamabad International Airport. According to reports, customs agents confiscated expensive phones such as iPhones and MacBook Pros from passengers arriving from Dubai. 

The passengers communicated with customs authorities stationed at the airport. In order to clear the large number of iPhones and MacBook Pros. According to the authorities, Additional Collector Asim Rehman stopped the attempt to clear non-duty-paid commodities and confiscated them.

The passengers were arriving from Dubai on various airline flights. Three customs officials, namely Zia ul Islam, Khalid, and Touqeer, reportedly stationed at Islamabad airport, allegedly in contact with passengers to clear the massive amount of items.
