11th generation Honda Civic 2022 was unveiled by Honda in 3 variations earlier in the month. It was announced at the time of launch that October-November 2022 will be the deployment timeframe for all variants.
The waiting period was extended to 11 months within last 2 weeks, as announced by the company. The upper two Civic variants will be supplied in February 2023 and the base version in August 2022, according to the new schedule.
Customers of the Civic Standard will only have to wait five months where customers of Civic Oriel and Civic RS may have to wait 11 months.
“Pricing modification is a possibility” – Honda Dealership.
A Honda retailer informed the reporter, “We are notifying our clients that February 2023 is the arrival deadline for the two high-end variants, and we’re also alerting them there might be a cost modification before then.”
Not only will you have to wait nearly one year after reserving a new Civic now but if the price rises meanwhile, you’ll have to shell out more money to acquire the car. Current Rates of New Honda Civic:
- Rate of New Honda Civic Standard is Rs. 5,099,000. (New delivery time: August 2022)
- Rate of Honda Civic Oriel is Rs. 5,399,000. (New delivery time: February 2023)
- Rate of Honda Civic RS is Rs. 6,149,000. (New delivery time: February 2023)
The RS variation has a reservation price of 1.2 million rupees whereas reservation rate of the Standard and Oriel variants is 1 million rupees.
