Didn’d Receive Any Letter from the BCCI’, PCB Chairman

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi addressed the recent news regarding India’s decision not to tour Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He clarified that, as of now, the PCB has not received any official communication from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on this matter.

Naqvi mentioned that, according to reports in Indian media, the BCCI would prefer India’s matches to be played at a neutral venue, possibly in Dubai, due to ongoing concerns. However, he emphasized that until a formal letter or official confirmation is provided by the BCCI, the PCB cannot proceed with any changes or plans to accommodate this request.

Naqvi further stated that if an official notice from India does arrive, he will consult with Pakistan’s federal government to determine the appropriate course of action. In the meantime, the PCB will continue with its preparations for the Champions Trophy, focusing on upgrading stadiums and ensuring readiness for the event.
