“Don’t Lose Hope”: Pakistani Rescuers bring Relief to Turkiye Quake Survivors

Families of earthquake survivors delight as their loved ones are retrieved from collapsed buildings as local and international rescue workers in southern Turkey continue to fight against time with the message “don’t lose hope.”

The citizens of Adiyaman, one of the 10 provinces shaken by Monday’s strong earthquakes, were among those who received aid from two of these multinational search and rescue groups from Pakistan.

Over 18,300 people were killed as a result of the deadly earthquakes that struck Turkey early this week, along with thousands of destroyed buildings.
Unwavering rescue attempts have kept hope alive even four days later.
