‘Don’t Test My Patience’, Shaheen Afridi on Captaincy Saga

Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi shared a mysterious message on social media amidst reports indicating that Babar Azam will be reinstated as the T20 captain, replacing him.

In his Instagram story, the left-arm pacer wrote: “Never ever put me in a position where I have to show you how cruel and ruthless I can be. Don’t test my patience because I might be the kindest and sweetest person you’ve ever met. But once I reach my limit you’ll see me do the things that no one thought I was capable of doing.”

This message came out as reports suggested that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to appoint Babar Azam as the captain of the national team once again.

Babar is expected to resume the T20 leadership role from Shaheen Afridi, who took over after Babar’s resignation due to the team’s disappointing performance in the ODI World Cup.

Currently, Afridi is undergoing fitness training supervised by the army at Kakul academy in Abbottabad, preparing for the upcoming New Zealand series and the T20 World Cup.
