A vehicle whose driver had committed 47 traffic offences was fined Rs39,500 by the Lahore traffic police.
The driver, according to Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Muntazir Mehdi, jumped six red lights and was captured speeding 47 times.
The driver was fined Rs39,500 and his coaster was seized by Faisal Town police, according to him.
The Lahore traffic police confiscated a vehicle last month and fined its owner Rs32000 for committing 66 traffic infractions and having unpaid fines.
A fine of Rs 32,000 was also imposed on another vehicle for breaking traffic rules 74 times.
