Dubai’s Festival City Mall will open a massive food hall called “The Market Island” in partnership with Russian real estate firm, Zemskiy Group. It will be the largest food court in the Middle East, spanning 70,000 square meters. Located on the mall’s ground floor, it combines food and entertainment with over 3,500 seats and 53 food outlets.
Opening in December, it aims to be a tourist and entertainment hub, featuring live performances and DJ sets. The food hall includes food stations, restaurants, bars, and lounges, with the first licensed bar in a UAE mall.
