Pakistan is currently in talks with a company based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to implement electronic gates (e-gates) at major airports in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

The proposed e-gates would function similarly to those already in place at airports such as Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Dubai.
