Turmeric, which is well-known for its antibacterial properties, can also be used to effectively clean fruits and vegetables. Washing fruits and vegetables with turmeric and water is an option.

Caution Health experts have also advised that when washing fruits and vegetables, avoid using hot water as it can destroy their nutrients.
