Elections Are All We Want; We Don’t Want Any Harm or Disruption in the Nation, Imran Khan.

Imran Khan’s immediate release was mandated by the Supreme Court after it ruled that the detention of the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was unlawful.

Imran Khan stated, “The media is here, I want to convey a message, I was arrested, how did I become responsible for the violent protests,” as he entered the Supreme Court.

Imran Khan said that he never advocated for anarchy, that he merely wanted elections, and that he was advising people to refrain from damaging government and public property.

He claimed that my phone had been stolen, I had no idea what had happened in the nation, and that all we wanted was elections. We didn’t want anything bad to happen to the nation or for there to be anarchy.

Imran Khan ordered the workers to maintain their composure and told the court that he wanted free elections in the nation and that occasionally, they led him to the police queue and other times, they took him somewhere else.

Imran Khan, the leader of the Tehreek-e-Insaf and a former prime minister, was detained by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on May 9 in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case. The following day, he was brought before the Accountability Court in Police Lines, where the court approved his physical detention for 8 days.

However, the Supreme Court today ruled that Imran Khan’s arrest was unlawful and commanded that he be released right away.

The Supreme Court has instructed Imran Khan to reapply to the Islamabad High Court and has stated that you must accept their ruling.
