Electric Supply Company Announces Installment Plans Amid Electricity Bills Protests

In response to widespread protests held across the nation due to surging electricity bills, the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has introduced an installment option for its customers.

Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan, the Chief Executive of IESCO, made this announcement, emphasizing that the company’s various offices will now provide installment plans to customers who are unable to pay their bills in a single payment.

Dr. Amjad encouraged IESCO’s customers to engage with the relevant Sub-Divisional Office, Revenue Office, or Customer Service Centers if they have any concerns or questions about their electricity bills.

This decision came as several protests occurred in all the major cities across Pakistan, voicing dissatisfaction with the substantial increases in electricity prices. The announcement has come as a relief for the citizens.
