Elon Musk Appoints First Woman CEO of Twitter

Elon Musk announced Linda Yaccarino as the CEO of Twitter, becoming the first woman Chief executive officer of Twitter. Linda is a former advertising head of NBCUniversal and would be taking over the operations within six months, as stated by Elon Musk.

The richest man himself, Elon Musk, however, would remain involved in the business as an executive chairman. He took to his twitter account saying that he is looking forward to working with Linda and shaping twitter into X (everything app).

Elon Musk brought media industry $44 billion last year but had been under some heat after he took over twitter. Some days earlier he claimed that he had selected a new boss, and now wats to focus on his other businesses, Tesla and SpaceX.

Linda Yaccarino has become among the few top women working in America’s biggest companies. Her background in advertising will be a big advantage in her new career. The chief media correspondent stated earlier that she is the ideal person to monetize twitter.
