England Cricket Board Security Team ‘Satisfied’ with Arrangements in Pakistan

Recently, Pakistan arrangements has been proclaimed as “Satisfactory” by the security team of ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board), after taking a view of the matches venue in Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Islamabad, confirmed by sources.

Richard Snowball, Robert Lynch, John Carr and Reg Dickson, from ECB arrived in Pakistan on 17 July, met the security officials to visit and review the security measures made for England’s team tour to Pakistan this year.

Seven T20s and two Test matches has been scheduled for England team to be played in September and December respectively.

Four team of ECB security will now update its report to ECB, as per details the four team has proclaimed the arrangement as “satisfactory” after viewing venues and hotels for their stay.

The ECB security team also met the top officials of the security forces and Punjab Police, they were informed regarding the security situation and arrangements. Moreover, they were also informed regarding the routes to airport, stadium, hotel and parking too.

Videos were also shown to the ECB security specifically of the teams who visited Pakistan. They were also informed about the modern technology and the corporation of law enforcement agencies.

Further, they also reviewed the facilities at NHPC Lahore.
