Chasing 389 for victory, Pakistan’s batting lineup struggled under pressure and was bowled out for 194, with Saud Shakeel providing the main resistance through a determined 97.
England’s bowling attack, led by Ollie Robinson, Josh Tongue and Jofra Archer, consistently troubled Pakistan’s batters and exposed major weaknesses in their top order.
The result gave England its first home Test series victory in two years and highlighted the growing gap between the two sides during the opening two matches.
Robinson was particularly influential at Lord’s, taking eight wickets in the match, while Pakistan’s batting failed to build sustained partnerships in either innings.
