European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas is scheduled to visit Pakistan on June 1 to participate in the 8th Pakistan-European Union Strategic Dialogue, a key diplomatic platform aimed at enhancing cooperation and strengthening ties between the two sides.
The visit highlights the growing importance of Pakistan-EU relations and reflects a shared commitment to expanding collaboration across a wide range of sectors, including trade, investment, development cooperation, climate resilience, regional stability, governance, and security. During her visit to Islamabad, Kaja Kallas is expected to hold meetings with Pakistan’s senior leadership, including the Prime Minister and the President. She will also co-chair the Strategic Dialogue alongside Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, where both delegations will review progress achieved under the Pakistan-EU Strategic Engagement Plan and discuss ways to advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
