Exclusive: Skoda Wants to Introduce Their Vehicles in Pakistan

A large number of automotive firms have expressed interest in Pakistan as a result of the recent entry and success of several new automakers. Skoda Motors has expressed interest in establishing a vehicle assembly plant in Pakistan, according to a recent development.

On Monday, a Skoda Motors group met with the Pakistani Ambassador in Prague, Czech Republic. Christian Seelen, Skoda Motors’ Head of Global Regions, was in attendance, as was Petr Janeba, Head of Sales Asia, Ondej Cerny, Head of New Markets, Ambassador Muhammad Khalid Jamali, and Hassan Aslam, Head of Czech Pak Business Chambers.

Skoda Motors is a Czech vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic, that was founded in 1895 as Laurin & Klement. In 1925, Laurin & Klement was purchased by Skoda Works, an industrial giant that became state-owned in 1948.

Skoda is one of the most popular automakers in numerous regions of the world, with a presence in more than 100 countries. It is also the second most profitable automaker in the VAG group of companies, behind Porsche.
