Exports of Pakistan to China shot up by 64% during January to March

The China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement Phase-II (CPFTA-II) is effective since the 1st of January, 2020; however, it is now showing its results.

According to the Commercial Consular, the Pakistan Embassy, Beijing, Mr. Badar Uz Zaman said that the Pakistan’s exports to the neighboring country, China has recently shot up by 64% during the monthd of January-March 2021.

However, he made these remarks meanwhile participating in an online brainstorming session that was held recently with the representatives of Pakistani trading community in order to discuss that how to secure a due share in over $2 trillion of China’s import market.

The conference also had a particular significance as in the backdrop of an updated China-Pakistan FTA.

Moreover, they stressed all the needs to robust the efforts in order to take full benefits of concessions that are granted by Iron Brother to the Pakistani traders under the CPFTA-II.
