Recently, Fakhar Zaman has been included in Pakistan squad for the coming T20 World Cup in the replacement of leg-spinner Usman Qadir who haven’t been recovered from injury.
PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) said that Fakhar has been included in the official 15 member T20 World Cup squad whereas, Usman is still under recovery from fractured thumb, will join the travelling reserves.
PCB shared a statement, “The change was necessary as Usman Qadir is yet to recover from a hairline fracture on his right thumb that he suffered during the 25 September T20I against England in Karachi. The leg-spinner will not be available for selection before 22 October.”
