Punjab Police Arrests Thieves for Stealing Oil Worth Rs. 155 Million from Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi Police have booked a squad of thieves involved in stealing raw oil of worthing million of rupees from the pipelines of Pakistan Oil Field Limited (POL) in Dhamial area, as per sources.

Further, police have arrested a squad member named Shafique Khan. The case was reported with Police Station Dhamial on complaint of Security Officer POL Hamood Ur Rehman under sections 379/427/285 and 286 of PPC.

Police have also started searching in order to arrest the escaping member of gang involved in stealing crude oil, as per police spokesperson.

Hamood Ur Rehman, a security officer of POL, reported a complaint with Police Station Dhamial stating that POL used to supply raw oil from Khor to Attock Refinery through pipelines.

Moreover, it has been noticed that the oil was being stolen through pipeline for many months, resulting in the theft of hundreds of barrels of oil, as per sources.
