Fawad Alam dropped from Pakistan’s test squad against England

Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim has announced the 18-man Pakistan squad for the home Test series against England later in December.

Many players, including Yasir Shah and Fawad Alam, are excluded from the national side based on their performances.

The Chief Selector also replied to a question about Fawad Alam being dropped from the Test squad. Saying, “I have seen the current performances of these players.”

Being unable to perform for his side in recent Test matches, Yasir Shah is also out of form while representing Balochistan in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Many analysts are questioning whether this type of inconsistent performance by Yasir Shah (36) and Fawad Alam (37) is the end of their careers.

The three tests are part of the ICC World Test Championship. These are scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi (1–5 December), Multan (9–13 December), and Karachi (17–21 December).
