Fire Breaks Out at Gulberg Plaza Near Liberty Roundabout in Lahore

A fire broke out at a commercial plaza in the Gulberg area of Lahore near Liberty Roundabout, creating panic among residents, shopkeepers, and commuters in the busy vicinity. The incident escalated quickly as the flames spread through parts of the building, producing thick smoke that was visible from a considerable distance and drawing immediate attention from people in the surrounding area.

Emergency response teams arrived shortly after the incident was reported and began firefighting operations to bring the situation under control. Firefighters worked urgently to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further to other sections of the plaza as well as nearby commercial buildings in the densely populated area.

In order to ensure public safety and facilitate rescue efforts, authorities cordoned off the surrounding roads and implemented traffic diversions. This helped create space for emergency vehicles and allowed rescue teams to operate more effectively while managing crowd movement in the area.

At this stage, no casualties have been reported, and the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Officials have stated that a thorough investigation will be conducted once the fire is fully extinguished and the site is safe to inspect.
