First Ever Pakistani Company Gets Contract to Export Meat to Saudi Arabia via Sea

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) stated that it had signed a high-value contract with a multinational company called ‘Global Food Company (Americana)’ in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the supply of frozen boneless meat (KSA).

National Food Company is one of the Middle East’s most profitable organizations and is considered to be one of the region’s largest food processing and distribution firms, the notification reads.

The value of this deal is approximately 3.9 million, according to the information shared by the firm, and the timeline is for twelve months. The Pakistani company will supply 100 MT of frozen boneless meat to Jeddah by sea on a monthly basis.

TOMCL is the first company from Pakistan to be licensed for the supply of meat from Pakistan by a multinational food processing company. It is also the only company to receive clearance for the export of frozen meat by sea to KSA from the Saudi Arabia Drug Authority (SFDA).
