Pakistan has recently welcomed the first French car officially in the country. Lucky Motors has taken this initiative by importing a European crossover SUV, Peugeot 2008 in Pakistan.
It is a B-segment subcompact crossover SUV named “Peugeot 2008” and it is currently in the second generation that had debuted in 2019.
Common Modular Platform that is built by the company is powered by up to 1.2 liter turbocharged and 3-cylinder engine and it also comes in pairs to either a 6-speed manual or to 8-speed full automatic transmission.
Lucky Motors would use these imported SUV units for the trials by testing them in Pakistan. The French crossover SUV also will have a couple of its potential rivals in Pakistan’s local SUV market. Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, MG HS, DFSK Glory 580 Pro, and Proton X70 are the competitors as per the official reports.
